The good, and the Bad

What is good and bad about academic writing in regards to what the goals suggest this writing should be is good because the goals are clearly stated. They are specific in what they are telling you to do, even though they don't necessarily go into great detail about how to do it. What the assignments suggest that academic writing should be are good because they do explain what they want done in order to achieve good academic writing. Each assignment is helping us to achieve the goal of writing to the standards if the goals of academic writing. The coarse reader is alright but i wouldn't call it good. It gives you the goals but it doesn't really help you to achieve the goals we are trying to accomplish. I wish the goals were easier to achieve, but i understand why they aren't. I would like it more if english courses took it a little slower in helping us to achieve the goal of being able to write on the level of academic writing on our own, but the college professors n all them people prolly know more than me, even though they aint always right.
