Track Changes = Cool
After getting a helpful note of feedback on what i am doing and not doing in my portfolio writings really helped me hone in and focus on my writing assignments in English 101. The track change revision assignment was kind of an academic writing revolution for me. This new device helped so much and is exceptionally helpful for peer revision and so on. Track changes allows not only the writer to see what he is doing from paragraph changes to something as small as a period, while also keeping what you have writing and taking out and what you add in is all seen. This perception allows the writer to keep all unusable sentences in front of them to go back to or build off of. Using the track changes for me felt like i was not the one even writing my revised paper, what i mean is that instead of deleting irrelevant stuff and forgetting about it and shrinking your paper the entire paper stays intact. Track changes makes the writer look at the writing from a high viewpoint one that is more objective. Track changes gives the writer the perspective of the teacher and helps you "yell" at yourself for even thinking of submitting some sentences in the writing. Ms Track Changes is an advantage best used if the writer can be perceptive and really look at all the "red" that can appear after you get in the rhythm of revising. The best thing about track changes is that whatever you correct can always be undone.
