Just....The Doctor

We are asked to give our opinion on what good writing is to us. But that shouldn't really matter, should it? Its that false sense of security to makes us feel like we are involved in the process somehow. But this isn't the business of opinions its the business of grades and most of the time when you give an opinion someone is going to be biased about it one way or another. Which ends up making me believe that in this program my thoughts of what good writing is doesn't really matter. Its what the English Dept. wants you to do and have to play by their rules.

Anyone can have good writing, its just having to play by someone else's set of rules and finding out how to make your writing the way they want it not the other way around. It gives each person that false sense of security and in the end that sense betrays you.
